Volunteer Opportunities

 

All volunteers must attend the volunteer briefing prior to the airshow:

A description of job duties, the map of the grounds and key locations will be covered. Instructions for parking and t-shirts will be handed out.

 

A select group of volunteer areas listed below require an additional safety briefing that will follow the volunteer briefing. It is noted below which areas require the safety briefing.

  • Ice Truck – Help manage the ice inventory and distribution of ice bags from an ice truck on site. Concessionaires will come to the ice truck to collect the ice bags. ​

 

  • Volunteer Booth – Help with volunteer check-in, answer questions, and give directions to their volunteer location.

 

  • Chalet Management (Gate entrances) – This volunteer opportunity is at the various entrances to the VIP Chalet area at the show line. You are responsible for checking wrist bands and managing access to this area.

 

  • Chalet cleaning – Help us keep the general VIP Chalet looking great for all attendees. You are responsible for clearing tables and garbage that has blown on the ground.

 

  • Programs – Be the face of the airshow and hand out free programs to the public within the airshow grounds.

 

  • $25 Chalet - This volunteer opportunity is at the entrance to the VIP $25 Chalet at the show line. You are responsible for checking wrist bands and managing access to this area.

 

  • Thunderbird Chalet -- This volunteer opportunity is at the entrance to the Thunderbird VIP Chalet at the show line. You are responsible for checking wrist bands and managing access to this area. The Thunderbird Chalet is for their family and guests.

 

  • Kids Zone – Assist at various inflatable attractions. Help manage the area and keep a safe environment for people of all ages in the Kids Zone area.

 

  • Handicap Chalet -- This volunteer opportunity is at the entrance to the Handicap Chalet at the show line. You are responsible for checking wrist bands and managing access to this area.
